Gardai in Waterford have seized a car that was travelling almost 70km/hr above the speed limit.
The roads policing unit was carrying out a speed checkpoint on the Waterford bypass.
The speed limit in the area is 100km/hr however they stopped a car travelling at 169km/hr.
The car also had no NCT and hadn't been taxed since 2009.
