Dungarvan's Capitol Cleaners located on O'Connell Street is set to close the doors after 67 years of business.

Ann-Marie Rossiter is taking her well-earned retirement after 24 years at the helm.

The building goes up for sale this week - and once sold, 67 years of history will come to an end.

First opened in 1958 by Ted Kelly, Francesca Hill and Eamon King - it was run by Ann Marie's parents Tom and Breda Rossiter.

Ann-Marie Rossiter thanked her friends and family - in particular her parents - for all their support, and in particular expressed gratitude for the staff, with special thanks to Rita Preston and Catherine Maher who have worked there for nearly 20 years. She has encouraged the people of Dungarvan to continue to support small business.
