A Local Councillor is calling on the Minister for Transport to address road safety concerns.
Councillor Conor McGuinness says he has called on Eamon Ryan to meet with Councillors in Waterford, citing safety concerns on the N25.
The National Road is recognised as the most dangerous in the state according to the local representative.
Speaking at the most recent Plenary Meeting of Waterford Council, Councillor Conor McGuinness questioned the Minister's response.
"I see there is nothing in the current agenda, but if we could just get a confirmation if there has been anything since that was received, or is he still blanking us and ignoring us as representatives of Waterford?
"At the risk of sounding like a broken record, I've asked if there's any word back from the Minister for Transport, Eamon Ryan, about our correspondence relating to the N25, and the need to urgently as a Council, discuss this with him as minister and his officials."
