People in the Tramore, Dunmore East and Cheekpoint areas of Waterford are being asked to conserve water for the next 48 hours.
It's due to a major burst.
Irish Water and Waterford City and County Council are working to locate the burst and repair the water main and are appealing to those in the Tramore, Dunmore East & Cheekpoint areas to conserve water over the next 48 hours to ensure that water supply can be maintained to these areas.
Irish Water says it understands the inconvenience when a burst occurs and thanks customers for their patience while they work to repair the burst and restore normal supply to impacted customers.
Irish Water is also reminding people to follow the HSE COVID-19 advice and ensure frequent handwashing.
