Two people were arrested following a burglary at Burke's Pharmacy in the Hypercentre in Waterford City in the early hours of this morning.
Gardaí responded to a call that at least two males were breaking into the pharmacy. Entry was gained through the roof.
Officers arrived at the scene and a cordon was set up covering the surrounding area.
A co-ordinated search was conducted and the two suspects were found hiding in bushes on the grounds of an adjacent premises at around 1.30am.

The two males aged 17 and 22 are both being detained at Waterford Garda Station.
