Gardaí investigating a number of burglaries in Waterford City

Gardaí are investigating a number of burglaries in Waterford City yesterday.

Three houses were broken into at Maple Close, Carraig An Ard, Six Cross Roads between 9am and 5:15pm.

Entry to the properites was gained by forcing the front door in one incident, the front window in another, and the rear window in the third incident.

All three houses were ransacked.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone who noticed anything suspicious or out of the ordinary in the area to contact them on 051 305300.
