Almost 150 people gathered in John Robert's Square in Waterford City last night in solidarity with the women affected by the Cervical Check scandal.
It was one of a number of demonstrations to take place across the Country, and a similiar vigil was held in Dungarvan earlier yesterday evening.
One of those to address last night's gathering was Johnny Kelly, the brother of Mooncoin woman and activist Vicky Phelan.
He says his sister has had a massive role in bringing the scandal to light.
Johnny Kelly says that there now needs to be systemic reform in healthcare.
A further demonstration will take place in John Robert's Square later this morning at 10:30.
