Body recovered from sea in search for man missing from Tramore
Gardaí in Co Waterford searching for a man missing from Tramore have recovered a body.
The body of a male was recovered from Newtown Cove at 12:30pm this afternoon.
The remains were transferred by ambulance to University Hospital Waterford for a post mortem examination.
The identity of the body has yet to be established.
Gardaí, the Coastguard helicopter and Tramore Lifeboat were involved in the search for the 39-year-old man, who was reported missing last night.
