Conditional planning permission has been granted for 25 apartments in Waterford City.

The planning application has been given the green light by Waterford City and County Council - following amendments to an initial proposal that had been approved subject to 28 conditions.

Planning permission had initially been granted in March 2022 for an application that was submitted by ENK Beechouse Limited on June 24th 2021.

The initial application was comprised of a total of 22 apartments, following on from the proposed demolition of an existing industrial premises at Saint John's Park, Killure Road, Waterford.

A new application was lodged with the local authority by Hendoy Construction Limited on May 10th last seeking alterations to that previously approved development - catering for 3 more apartments and more car parking spaces as a result of the proposed conditions set out by Waterford City and County Council.

That application was then approved by the local authority on February 21st - paving the way for constuction.
