The annual Waterford PPN Community & Voluntary Awards will take place in Dungarvan next month and the shortlist has been announced, including the shortlist for the WLR sponsored Billy McCarthy Award.
Presented by The Big Breakfast Blaa's Oliver Carroll and Mary O Neil, the gala ceremony will happen at The Park Hotel in Dungarvan on Thursday the 21st November with representatives from all the nominated groups invited to attend.
Speaking about the adjudication process Information and Communications Coordinator Muriel Tobin said;
"We had a huge response to this years awards. The Adjudicators had an unenviable task and remarked on the outstanding work that you do in your communities, so well done to all of you for being nominated, you are all valued and all winners in your community.
The award ceremony is a lovely night, it is YOUR night and an evening of celebration and recognition. Hope to see you all there."
