A major electricity outage in Tramore has left almost eight and a half thousand homes without power.
The ESB has confirmed on its website that 8,433 customers are affected by the fault.
Locals reported hearing a loud noise near the ESB charging station in the town.
Crews are working on the outage which is reported to have occurred around 3pm.

An estimated restore time of 5.30pm has been given.
