Two of the alleged perpetrators in an acid attack that happened in Waterford last April are not going to be charged.

Gardaí have phoned the victims' families with the decision of the Director of Public Prosecutions.

17 year old Tega Agberhiere was one of the three victims and he suffered horrific injuries to his face and body.

Speaking to Damien Tiernan on Deise Today, his mother Christy says she's shocked:

"I just want justice for the boys. I'm disappointed about that, you know, to say they're going to be given juvenile caution and that's all. The whole of my family, we will fight, we will fight it. I will appeal to the Minister, I will appeal to the Taoiseach. I mean, this is very,very unfair, for someone to do that to my son."
