A decision on whether there will be an oral hearing into the North Quays Strategic Development Zone in Waterford will be made in the next few weeks.
An Bord Pleanala is dealing with two valid objections and is currently preparing the file for the inspector.
The 18 week process was undertaken following the two objections, one of which requested an oral hearing which the board is now considering.
