A body has been found in the River Suir in Co. Waterford by rescue teams searching for missing teenager Elisha Gault.
The Rescue 117 Coast Guard helicopter spotted the body at a section of the river near Killowen, Portlaw at 7:00 pm this evening after a three-hour low water search.
The body has since been taken to University Hospital Waterford to be identified, with a postmortem also due to take place.
Elisha Gault vanished on St. Patrick's night last weekend in Carrick-on-Suir, Co. Tipperary. Searches have been conducted throughout the week for the 14 year-old student.
