The country is bracing for more snow - with those heading to St Patrick's day parades urged to wrap up well.

Hundreds of thousands of people are expected to take to the streets across the country tomorrow.

Met Eireann says we could see up to 6cms of snow in some parts of the country - while temperatures are also set to plummet.

A weather warning advisory is in place for Waterford, Leinster, Cavan, Monaghan and Waterford.

Met Eireann Forecaster is John Eagleton: "It does look like snow. It's a very similar situation to the last time except it's not being joined by a storm from the south which it was the last time. Amounts overall will be less but I still think we could see several centimetres of snow particularly in Eastern counties."
