Funding of 11 million euro is being provided to 209 organisations around the country under the Covid Stability Fund.
In Waterford six organisations will benefit to the tune of approximately 200 thousand euro.
The money has been provided from the Dormant accounts fund and is designed to support critical services for the most vulnerable in society.
The organisations benefiting are the Carbally Community development project which receives €12,428; Tramore's meals on wheels 24,206; Tramore Cliff and Waterford Mountain Rescue Association, €3,766; The Simon Community. €82,891; Ballyduff Munitir na Tire community services, €12,775; and Suide lol-Oidis Dúin Aill Cuideachta Faoi Theorainn Ráthaíochta, €53,300.
