Waterford teen attempts to be first person to cycle around Ireland, while also climbing the highest mountain in each county he cycles through.

A teenager in Waterford hopes to raise over 10,000 euro for charity cycling around Ireland while also climbing the highest mountain in each county he cycles through.

16 year old Adam Sweeney from Dunmore East is raising funds for the Solas Cancer Support Centre in Waterford.

He hopes to be the first person ever to accomplish the mission - with an ambitious target of climbing the equivalent of Mt Everest 1 and a half times and cycling over 1600 kilometres.
