Waterford's Viking Triangle is in motion once again, with two more museums re-opening today.
The Georgian Bishop's Palace on the Mall and the 'King of the Vikings 3D Adventure' re-open their doors today.
The news comes following the re-opening of the nearby Medieval Museum - which is also part of the part of Waterford's Viking Triangle.
Waterford Treasures' Museums Director, Eamonn McEneaney says there are also two new museums set to open in the city this summer:
He says new procedures for social distancing, hygiene and visitor interactions are in place.
"We have all the sanitizing units, marks on the floors and routes and queuing routes marked out. The King of the Vikings, because it's in a fairly confined space we are just letting in six people instead of ten.
We'll have the Silver Museum hopefully ready by the end of this month. It's the third biggest collection in the world of Irish silver made by Irish hands, both men and women since Viking times. The exhibition on that is very beautiful. Then by the end of August we'll have an exhibition of Irish clocks and watches."
