There are no new cases of Covid-19 at University Hospital Waterford.
Five patients with the virus continue to be treated there, two of whom are in intensive care.
A further five suspected cases are awaiting test results.
As of midnight on Saturday there were 140 confirmed cases in Waterford since the outbreak began.
The UK has almost overtaken Italy as the country with the most Covid-19 deaths in Europe.
Some minor coronavirus restrictions are being eased from this morning.
Those cocooning can go out for brief exercise while the 2km exercise distance is being extended to 5km.
1,319 people have now died from coronavirus here and there are almost 22 thousand confirmed cases.
It’ll be another two weeks before any further restrictions are eased.
More than 28,800 people have lost their lives in Britain and Northern Ireland - just 200 less than Italy's total.
Across the world, more than a quarter of a million people have died of the coronavirus.
Meanwhile, Mike Ryan, from the World Health Organisation, says he strongly supports contact-tracing apps.
He said the addition of apps that people themselves can have on their telephones that will give them information on their
disease status or notify them if they have been in contact with an individual that is infected can enhance the effectiveness of
contact surveillance.
The HSE’s new Covid-19 tracing app is being developed by Tramore based Nearform.
No firm date has been set as to when it will be available.
Nearform has not commented on the development of the software or what functions it will contain, as it is subject to non-disclosure agreements.
