The group promoting food and drink in Waterford have created a number of food tours and restaurant trails in both the City and County.
Waterford was recently announced the Foodie Destination of Ireland.
Aoibhin Ni Crohuir is the co-ordinator of Food the Waterford Way.
She says they have created an opportunity for people to meet the makers, and tour the farm, factory, brewery or distillery.
"Each Wednesday our Bus Bia will be setting out on different routes across the region to visit a selection of producers for you to enjoy a morning of food, drink and discovery before finishing up with lunch, which is included in the tour. On alternate weeks the bus will depart from central locations in Waterford and Dungarvan, delivering you back to your start point after a morning exploring the region and meeting some of our makers."
She says the Restaurant trail, in Waterford City and Dungarvan, as well as being a chance to taste what Waterford chefs have to offer, is a very social occasion.
"A firm favourite at the annual West Waterford Festival of Food, we now give you the chance to enjoy this unique showcase of local and seasonal food and drink all autumn long. Join the trail as you are guided through a selection of eateries in either Dungarvan or Waterford for a fun evening of casual eating. Tours run in Dungarvan and Waterford on alternate Wednesdays."
