What is Wicked Woods?

Spraoi returns for Samhain with live performances of Wicked Woods at Carriganore Wood, Waterford. Happening from October 27th to 30th, organisers describe it as a site-specific seasonal night-time woodland stroll.

The event promises a mix of music, mist, light. There will be live costumed performers celebrating the Celtic transition into the darker half of the year.

Recent Spraoi events in Waterford

It's been a busy time for the local street theatre company. In August Waterford people and beyond were treated to a number of events. These included performances on the Greenway, and Faoin Spéir, an installation in the Apple Market area of the City. The last week of August saw Prism at Waterford Court House. This involved a unique, tent-like structure that housed dancers, musicians and aerialists against the backdrop of lights and original music. Prism garnered significant national attention.
