Garth Brooks will play his first of five Irish shows tomorrow night, with close to 400,000 people expected to see him.

If you are one of those, here's what you need to know.

Tickets

First of all, ensure you have the correct ticket for the date you are planning on attending.

On top of this, your ticket must be on your phone and therefore organisers are reminding people to have their phone charged.

Screenshots and printed versions of digital tickets will not be accepted.

Have your ticket in your e-wallet in case of poor connection at the venue.

When will Garth be on stage?

The country superstar is expected on stage at 7:30pm sharp.

He will have no support act and is expected to play for over two hours, although no set time has been confirmed.

The venue has a curfew of 10:30pm and gates will open at 5pm.

Getting to and from the concert

Public transport could be your friend here as there is little to no parking at the venue.

There are regular buses and trains from Waterford to Dublin and vice versa. Information on bus and train timetables can be found here.

Do try to book tickets for public transport in advance, as a number have already sold out.

The last train home is 6:35pm, so too early. There are buses running frequently between 10pm and midnight.

If you’re landing at Heuston Station, your best option will be to hop on the LUAS red line to Connolly Station and get off at the Busáras stop.

The journey will take around 15 – 20 minutes and Croke Park is roughly a 25-minute walk to Busarus.

A large number of Dublin bus routes will bring you within walking distance of the stadium also.

Croke Park has listened the following services on its website; 1, 7, 11, 13, 14, 16, 27a, 27b, 29a, 31/a, 31b, 32, 33, 40, 40b, 40d, 41, 41b, 41c, 42, 43, 44, 53, 123, 13.

How's the weather looking?

Well, if you have tickets for Saturday, you could be one of the lucky ones.

Friday ticketholders can expect some light showers, with temperatures expected to range between 16 to 17 degrees.

Mét Eireann are forecasting a mainly dry day on Saturday with good sunny spells and temperatures of 15 to 16 degrees between 7pm and 10pm.

Unfortunately, Sunday is likely to be a wet one, with rain predicated throughout the show, so don't forget your raincoats!

Is there anything I shouldn't bring?

Bags larger than A4 will not be admitted entry.

Inflatable and folding chairs are not permitted.

Any large lens professional cameras or any form of video recorder are not allowed.

Children under the age of 14 are not permitted on the pitch standing areas.

Children under the age of five are not permitted in the concert venue at all, and anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times during the show.

Is that everything??

That's it!

Now, prepare yourself, and have a ball.

Just don't forget to stay safe.
