Location: WLR Waterford.
Are you passionate about sports and Waterford? Do you live and breathe local sports stories? WLR, Waterford's leading station, is on the lookout for a dynamic and enthusiastic part-time multi-platform sports journalist/presenter to join our team at the Broadcast Centre in Waterford City. This is a weekend position (Saturday and Sunday)
What We're Looking For:
- Sports Enthusiast: Be sports-crazy and bring your passion for Waterford to every story.
- Creative Storyteller: A highly skilled self-starter who can write, produce, record, edit, and present compelling sports stories under deadline pressure.
- Excellent Communicator: Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must, with clear reading and presentation abilities.
- Tech-Savvy: Strong computer skills and familiarity with editing software (Adobe, Cool Edit, Burli).
- Organised and Motivated: Must be well-organised and highly motivated to deliver top-quality sports content.
- Driver’s License: A full driver's license is desirable but not essential.
