Cargo Surveyors
Maritime Expert Ireland has vacancies for Cargo Surveyors in liquid and dry bulk cargos.
Based in Port of Waterford building, Marine Point, but providing its services in the major ports of Europe. The company intends to meet the increasing demands for its services by recruiting additional cargo surveyors.
Candidates will work on a rotational basis. During the 'on' period, will be based in the company's apartment in Holland/Belgium/Germany. This position requires extensive travel.
Requirements:
- Marine background or Port background is essential.
- Cargo Surveyor experience is beneficial.
- The nature of the job requires a certain standard of physical condition.
- Full European driver's licence is a must.
- Ability to work well on your own but still be a team player.
- Pro-active 'can do' mentality.
- Has a TIC (formally IFIA) certificate OR willing to obtain one.
- Excellent customer-focused attitude.
- Good communication skills.
- Not afraid of heights, water, and confined spaces.
