Weather for Saturday, November 23rd
Very wet and windy this morning due to Storm Bert with heavy rain and flooding, especially for west Cork. The rain will clear eastwards later in the morning but showery rain will follow from the west in the afternoon, turning heavy at times with hail and thunder possible. Very strong and gusty southerly winds, will decrease moderate for a time before increasing very strong and gusty again by evening time. Highest temperatures of 13 to 15 degrees.
Windy tonight with showery rain, heavy at times with possible spot flooding will clear eastwards, followed by clear spells and blustery showers. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 9 degrees in fresh to strong and gusty south to southwest winds, with onshore gales on southern coasts.
A windy day tomorrow with sunny spells and scattered heavy showers, most frequent in the west of the province. Highest temperatures of 10 to 12 degrees with strong and gusty south to southwest winds with gale or strong gales near coasts.
