Waterford Warriors gym hosted its 3rd Annual 24 hour row in aid of the WLR Christmas Appeal for the Saint Vincent de Paul in Waterford. 10 rowing machines were in action for 24 consecutive hours from 2pm on Friday 6th December to 2pm on Saturday 7th December.
Each machine was manned by a team of approximately 24 people, who each rowed an average of 60 minutes.
It was very much a community effort led by owner Gary Walsh and supported by gym members, family and friends.
The final few hours of the row was assisted by the upbeat music provided by WLR’s Oliver Carroll on the decks!

To date €16,500 has been raised with more to follow.
