On Friday, 23rd of February, the annual Waterford Business Awards will take place in Faithlegg House Hotel in association with Waterford Chamber, WLR and Waterford City and County Council , celebrating the best in Waterford business across 11 categories. In each category, 3 local businesses are shortlisted, and every day on WLR in the lead up to the gala awards ceremony, we’ll be putting the spotlight on a different awards category.

DLIGHT CONCEPTS
Dlight Concepts Limited offer total lighting design consultancy from the site planning stage through to the construction and commissioning stages. Tramore native Shane Crowley, along with his diverse and experienced team, are constantly exploring the ever expanding boundaries of lighting design and technology, all while they maintain a strong foothold in the traditional values inherent to design. The diversity within the company brings knowledge and experience that allows Dlight to work with clients on many projects from hospitality and public spaces to retail and personal references.
HI-LITE TELEVISION PRODUCTIONS
Hi-Lite TV is a television production company based in Waterford City run by Brian and Suzanne Walsh, offering clients a full service from pre-Production to broadcast. With the latest technology and a passion for what they do, Hi Lite are regular contributors to RTE Nationwide among many other television and corporate clients. They are highly regarded for their drive and determination in showcasing Waterford and all it has to offer to a national audience, whether it is through festivals such as Winterval or Harvest, or though industry and community offerings.
SEAGULL BAKERY
A native of Tramore Sarah Richards and her team specialise in sourdough breads and patisseries. Sarah has been supplying bread to the people of Tramore for many years. In 2013 she started Seagull Bakery, which was initially based in a small unit in her back garden and production was limited. Once large queues started forming at the Tramore farmers market, along with requests from local restaurants and cafes, Sarah realised it was time to move the bakery to a new premises and open a bakery shop in her native Tramore, which continues to go from strength to strength.
