Leaving Cert confirmed for July 29th

It has been confirmed the Leaving Cert will start on July 29th.

Education Minister Joe McHugh says there will be a clear schedule for the exams in the first week of June.

Some opposition TDs have called for the exams to be cancelled however, Minister Joe McHugh told the Dáil this evening that the exams will go ahead.
