The annual Farmview auction on WLR for the Be A Little Star Christmas Appeal in aid of St Vincent De Paul was held on-air recently, hosted by Sean Organ and Farmview presenter Kieran O Connor.
The auction included farming and non-farming items such as; an annual badge for the Tramore races; Dinner for 4 at the award winning Glasha Farmhouse; pony riding lessons; Food hampers from Ardkeen Quality Foodstore; an annual pass for all local GAA games; vouchers for Gain cattle and Horse & Pet; as well as fertilisers, vet medications and dairy hygiene.
With the support from the farming community and beyond in Waterford, the auction raised a whopping €6,000 with all funds staying locally.
