The first ever Christmas Stars concert was held in St. Johns Church Parnell street on Tuesday December 6th.
It was a magical evening of song and festive cheer with performances by De La Salle Senior choir, Presentation Primary School Choir, St Ursula’s School Choir, St John of Gods School Choir, Newtown Chamber .
Special Guest Lynsey Penkert was supported by the Music in Motion Lámh Choir adding an extra special element to the show – there wasn’t a dry eye in the church.
Sincere thanks to Fr. Murphy and the parish team at St. johns Church as well as all choirs for taking part. Highlights of the concert will air on WLR twice over the Christmas period - on the 23rd and again on Stephens day, both at 6pm.
