A sea-facing plot of land on Gallweys Hill in Tramore has been placed on the market for €250,000.
The site was the subject of a controversial planning application in 2021 for two residential dwellings. Planning permission for the houses was subsequently refused by Waterford Council.
In recent weeks, calls have intensified for the council to complete a Compulsory Purchase Order of the land with a view to creating a community space and garden.
The .41 acre site is noted locally for its views of the bay in Tramore.
At the time of the previous planning application, 106 submissions were received in respect of the application.
