With the huge public support for shopping locally Christmas, I've been out and about meeting makers and traders who are selling unique Christmas gifts, or items you might fancy as a treat for yourself. I visited CC Creatives, a local makers collaborative at Stephens Court in the City, as well as The Art Hand on the beautiful Copper Coast.
I also caught up with Judy Walsh, who, along with Rachel Reilly, is running The Second Coming, a vintage designer pop-up shop on Georges Street in the City.

Digital Business Ireland, recently announced the finalists of the inaugural National Digital Awards. The awards aim to recognise the best digital, e-commerce and innovation businesses in Ireland while celebrating talent across the industry.
The Awards comprise 13 categories to include; Website of the Year, New Website of the Year, Online Retailer of the Year, Health, Beauty and Well-being Website of the Year, Food, Beverage Website of the Year, Digital Marketing Campaign of the Year, Digital Impact of the Year, Innovation Hub of the Year, App of the Year, Digital Trailblazer of the Year, Influencer of the Year, Next Generation and Women in Digital.
Waterford-based businesses Boxworks Co-Working Space is a finalist in the Innovation Hub of the Year award category with Regina Mangan of Liberty Blue featuring in the Women in Digital award.
