Remote working is one of the many buzz terms we've been hearing since the Covid19 pandemic changed all of our lives. For some people, working from home or blended working, could mean being able to move to a different location while keeping the same job. This has caused an upsurge in people looking to leave more expensive places like Dublin, and relocate to Waterford.

The funds will be used to support further expansion of the US branch of the business and drive forward the recent entry into the mainland European market. CameraMatics expects to create more than 50 jobs over the next two to three years in Ireland, with a particular focus on Waterford, as founder Mervyn O'Callaghan told me..

Latest stats from the Society of Motoring Industry of Ireland (SIMI) show that new vehicle registrations in Ireland were down 25% last year, compared to 2019. However, Pat Murphy, General Manager of H&H Motors in Waterford City, said there are specific reasons why these figures are so stark, and it's not as bad as it seems.
