A new course has commenced in Waterford, centred around the rapidly growing technology of 3D printing.
Hosted by South Eastern Applied Materials (SEAM) research centre in WIT, 3DWIT is a specialised group estalished to unique hands-on training in the field of additive manufacturing, also known as 3D printing.
The training is in response to the educational requirements of industries looking to adopt this technology to meet the needs of the developing manufacturing sector within Ireland.

.IE, the national domain registry in Ireland has launched the Digital Town Awards, developed to recognise the good work and achievements of local towns who have used digital technologies to keep their communities connected over the past twelve months.
The awards have a total prize fund of €100,000 across 14 categories, and .IE want to appeal to local Waterford groups to apply.
