Waterford's tech community readies itself for remote working weekend

LISTEN BACK: How is Waterford's tech community adapting to the coronavirus pandemic? The Hot Desk hears from the manager of ArcLabs at Carriganore, Dr Aisling O'Neill on how start-ups are coming together for a remote working weekend (April 24-26) which will see teams developing solutions for COVID-19-related challenges to society.

The weekend will see participants from all over Ireland are invited to come together online for a Global Online Start Up Weekend.

Techstars’ Start Up Weekends are a tried and tested way for you to bring an idea to life over the course of 54 hours. There have been over 4,000 Start Up Weekends in over 150 countries since Techstars started this initiative.

Aisling also speaks about the call for applications for a new accelerator programme at ArcLabs which will be attractive to digital technology start-ups in Waterford. More info here
