Thomas Kearneys wins Waterford's Best Butcher on The Big Breakfast Blaa

You voted in your droves to tell us who gives you the best steak, burger, rack of lamb and maybe even a marinated chop.

There are many very popular butchers in Waterford City and County, but, as Ollie and Mary found out this morning, there's no one as popular as Thomas Kearney on John Street.

He's the third generation to run this fine establishment and he says they still have some of the original customers who've been coming since 1956, and many more besides!

There's Thomas with Dad Tom and his late Grandad Michael, RIP.

So, a big congratulations to Thomas Kearney, a worthy winner in the "Waterford's Best of" series on WLR.
