Emily Blunt and Jamie Dornan as Rosemary and Anthony in "Wild Mountain Thyme"
When the trailer dropped for this movie, it was the talk of Twitter, mostly because people were amazed by the accents, which make Tom Cruise in Far and Away sound like he was born and bred here. Wild Mountain Thyme was written and directed by John Patrick Shanley and is set 'outside Mullingar.'
The romantic comedy that centres around a family row over land, has a stellar cast that includes Emily Blunt and Jamie Dornan in the lead, Also in the mix are Christopher Walken, John Hamm, Dearbhla Molloy and Danielle Ryan.
Filming began in Crossmolina, County Mayo, in September and it's due for a US release in September. We're not fully sure yet when we'll see it here in Ireland but no doubt it'll attract attention (whether for good or bad reasons remains to be seen.)
