Back in 2015, The Guardian predicted that self-driving cars would be common place in 2020. However, as we all know, that hasn't exactly worked out.

In his latest tech slot, Jordan Casey of The SCNE explores why we're all not back seat drivers, allowing our vehicles to nagivate traffic and career down motorways unaided.  He tells us that there are technical problems, but also issues around litigation that have to be sorted out first.
