Given that another summer of staycationing lies ahead, we are all crossing our fingers and toes for a bit of decent weather. So, it was no fun to face into today with grey skies, wind and rain. It's also been cold so far this May with tales of heating being turned on in houses all over Waterford.
What's causing this unseasonal misery? And when will the sun come back and the temperatures rise?! Michael Kelly of Waterford City Weather spoke to us this morning on The Big Breakfast Blaa. He says in the short term we're in for more unsettled periods, but he was feeling confident about what lies ahead over the coming months.
