What's it about?
Based on the book of the same name, this 2021 Netflix film has a star-studded cast that includes Amy Adams, Julianne Moore and Gary Oldman. It tells the story of the agoraphobic Anna Scott, who fills much of her time watching her neighbours the Russells and their seemingly picture-perfect life from the window of her apartment.

What were Maria's thoughts?
Not good, as it happens. Maria felt that the director Joe Wright had a potentially great film with top class actors. However, she said the script fell down badly and it didn't work as an adaptation.
