In his latest tech slot on The Big Breakfast Blaa, Jordan of SCNE looked at the so called phenomenon of 'Chipmageddon.' This refers to a global shortage of semi-conductors, a type of computer chip which is part and parcel of the functioning of so many devices, from your smartphone to cars.
Jordan says there are a few different reasons for 'Chipmageddon,' but the main one is an unprecedented demand for digital products in the Pandemic. He outlines to Ollie and me how this could end up having a knock-on effect on the consumer.
