Jenny says this is a top quality family drama, with fine performances from Annette Bening, Greta Gerwig, Elle Fanning, Billy Crudup and Lucas Jade Zumann.
She says there are some brilliantly awkward dinner table scenes, and some interesting perspectives on the time in which the movie is set - late seventies / early eighties America.
