Cycle for SOS ran from June 8th to 21st, in association with WLR
Here at WLR, we teamed up with the organisation Suicide or Survive for their #CycleforSOS fundraiser. The idea was to cycle 20k from your own home, post about it on social media, nominate others to do the same, and make a donation to SOS.
We're delighted to say the venture was a huge success and Ciara told us this morning on The Big Breakfast Blaa that they'd surpassed the €10,000 euro target by thousands, thanks to the valiant efforts of those who took part and donated.
Ciara also explained how the monies raised will be spent, and what services will be provided by SOS going forward.
