Colin Byrne, Creative Managing Director of TOTEM creative branding agency based in Dungarvan joined us for a chat on The Big Breakfast Blaa this morning. He and the team wanted to help a charity within the community who may be facing challenges due to Covid-19. Totem reached out to Waterford Animal Welfare to offer creative skills and help them to raise much needed funding.
Waterford Animal Welfare’s charity shop located on the quay in Waterford is currently closed, losing their main source of funding. However the organisation is still running 24 hour emergency response, maintaining a public advice service and providing after care for all the injured, neglected or abused animals rescued. It's also helping pet owners who are vulnerable, cocooning or isolating by bringing their pets to the vets and at no cost.
Totem and Waterford Animal Welfare have teamed up to create #Paw4Waw, a fundraising initiative that pet owners can get involved with. Colin chatted to Ollie and me this morning to explain the details. You can listen back here...
