Listen back: "One More Yard" is a charity single inspired by an Irish teenager killed in World War 1

This collaboration contains the voice of Cillian Murphy reading the letters of soldier Michael Wall, who was only 19 when he was killed. It also combines the powerful vocals of Sinéad O'Connor and Imelda May, and the musical input of Ronnie Wood and Nick Mason.

The song was released to coincide with the 100th anniversary of Armistice Day, and is a fundraiser for the cancer charity of scientist and entrepreneur, Professor Sir Chris Evans, through his company Evamore Productions.
