It's derby weekend in the Waterford SHC with four quarter finals and two relegation play-offs down for decision.
Ballygunner and Passage have previously met in the 2013 and 2016 county finals. The Gunners enjoyed a 3-23 to 1-4 win in last year's semi final. They will renew their rivalry at 3 on Saturday. There's an all Eastern tussle between De La Salle and Roanmore in Walsh Park on Sunday at 1.30.
A bumper crowd is expected for Sunday's double bill in Fraher Field. Lismore and Mount Sion meet for the first time in a knockout match since 2003. Throw in is at 6. Cross town rivals Abbeyside and Dungarvan will collide at 7.30.
"You have derbies, you have local derbies and then you have Abbeyside & Dungarvan!" Mac Dara Mac Donncha from the Dungarvan Leader told WLR. It's only the fourth senior meeting between these clubs during this decade.
On Saturday afternoon there's a double helping of relegation play-offs with a local spice. Fourmilewater and Clonea start proceedings at 2 o'clock followed by Tallow versus Ballyduff Upper at 3.30.
