WRC

Craig Breen competes at Rally Finland which gets underway on Friday at 11.30 am.

It's potentially his last WRC outing this calendar year with only two more events scheduled and teammate Dani Sordo likely to get the nod ahead of the Slieverue native.

Back in February, he claimed fourth place at the same event when the course was covered in snow and ice, but this weekend's Autumnal challenge is very different with a hard surface to content with.

The event runs from Friday morning until Sunday afternoon.

The last time a men's elite champ was crowned in Waterford was in 2000 – when both Martin Murphy and Neil Gough brought titles back to the county.

The opening bouts will be liver on TG4's Youtube page, while both Sean and Kelyn's fights will be live on TG4 from 6 pm.

Soccer

Waterford FC travel to Sligo Rovers tomorrow evening for a clash of third and ninth in the table.

The teams come to the game with identical form in their past five league outings - both winning two, losing two, and drawing one.

Commentary will be live on WLR tomorrow thanks to McConnells Toyota Waterford.
