The Hurling Championship knockout games were in full swing  this weekend with the senior semi finals as well as intermediate and junior finals all decided at this point.

Roanmore ran out as 1-14 to 0-13 victors over Passage on Saturday, they now advance to their semi final against Mt Sion on Sunday 23rd in Walsh Park.

Ballygunner had the beating of Fourmilewater on Saturday evening when they booked their place in the semi final, thanks to a scoreline of 2-18 to 2-12.

Mt Sion were down to 14 men for the second week in a row when Austin Gleeson was sent off, but still managed to take the win over De la Salle with the full time score of 3-18 to 2-17.

Lismore claimed the bragging rights over their rivals Abbeyside with an eight point victory in Fraher Field, the full time score fro Dungarvan was Lismore 2-22 to Abbeyside's 3-11.
