With an absolutely brilliant run by the entire quartet the Irish Mixed Relay team of Christopher O'Donnell, former WIT student Phil Healy, Sharlene Mawdsley and Ferrybank's Thomas Barr are into the Final of the World Championships in Poland.
The final takes place at 6.20pm and the team have also qualified for Olympic Games in Tokyo.

They recorded a time of 3 minutes 16.84 seconds in finishing third in their heat which smashed the Irish record by a massive 8 seconds.
The 4 x 100 metres women's team were 4th in their heat but did not progress to the final.
