Waterford native Noel Hunt is to take over as manager of EFL Championship side Reading until the end of the season.
The Former Ireland forward will take the reins following the sacking of former Manchester United and Liverpool star, Paul Ince, with the Royals currently sitting 22nd in the table.
They were deducted six points a number of weeks ago, and are one point from safety with five points remaining.
Reading are winless in their last eight fixtures, and face already promoted Burnley at home this Saturday."
